Twelve representatives of UCC SAC attended this years Subaqua Intervarsities in Killary, Connemara. The annual meet up of University Subaqua Clubs is a great chance to make friends with the fanatics and submerge into the sport. We even managed to get in a quick (but successful) cox’n exam with the help of UCD who shared their boat and examiner (pictured). Many thanks to UCD and Medhi Entezari for his time, and congratulations to Billy O’ Connor on becoming dive cox’n.
UCC SAC also dived the underwater wrecks of M.V. Julia T. and M.F.V. Rath Connla, the first Irish wreck for some of our divers.
