The Sligo club is 40 years old this year and on the occasion of the 400^th anniversary of the Sligo Borough charter we have been invited to celebrate these milestones by hosting a raft race on the Garavogue River on August 11^th. We are proud to say that the relationship between the club and the people of Sligo is one of confidence and support and you are invited to make a raft, join us on the river for some fun and celebrate with one of the oldest sub aqua clubs in the country and the city of Sligo.

This is only one of the highlights in a weekend of entertainment at the Sligo Summer Festival August 10^th to 12^th.

We look forward to renewing old friendships and making new ones on the day so come and join the celebrations.
