Seasearch is running two courses this year as part of the National Biodiversity Data Centre (NBDC) identification workshop programme for 2014.

The first course, hosted by Dr Tim Butter, aims to provide an introduction to the identification of marine invertebrates and will include some time in the classroom as well of plenty of time on the shore (the date was selected to coincide with spring low tide).  The venue is the Speckled Door, Old Head of Kinsale, Co. Cork, on Friday
16 May 2014.

The second course is hosted by Tony O’Callaghan and will take a look at the behaviour of aquatic animals.  This event takes place in Galway Aquarium on Saturday 5 July 2014.

Both courses cost 20 euro per person. Places are limited and must be booked in advance through the NBDC website:
