Some kids joined this diver at the Pollock Holes, Kilkee, for the launch of next weekend’s Scubathon, a 24-hour diving event being run as part of Kilkee Maritime Festival. It will involve divers doing 24 hours of continuous diving in relays of one hour. The sponsored event is being organised by Limerick-based Aughinish Diving Club and Kilkee Sub Aqua Club. Proceeds go to Search & Recovery Activities. The Maritime Festival will also include a Currach Regatta, a monster raft race, kayaking, a sand castle competition; face painting and other family activities.
