A distance learning course in marine biology is noe enrolling in Newcastle University,. The course is for everyone who shares our respect and fascination for the marine environment. Not just a simple marine animal identification course, this six month programme explains the biology and ecology of marine organisms. Five monthly internet-based modules cover the coasts of the UK, open oceans, polar seas, tropical coral reefs, creatures of the deep and other topics. The other module is a five day field course to run from 26th to the 30th May 2013
