Aquatec was founded in 1968 and we operate all year round promoting safe and fun diving.
Our primary goal is promoting safe and fun diving/snorkelling at various locations off the coasts of Ireland. We offer members the insights into the wonderful underwater world and the sea life around our coast. We encourage and enable members to develop the necessary skills to safely enjoy the amazing underwater world. We are actively diving in Irish waters from early spring to late autumn. Aquatec is also affiliated to Technological University (TU Dublin) formerly Kevin Street DIT. During the academic year we hold a weekly pool training/fitness session. We also have snorkelling sessions in both Northside and Southside locations throughout the year.
The club is well equipped with 2 Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) Air compressors, Nitrox facilities. During the dive season one of our boats is moored at Dun Laoghaire.
