Challenge yourself to become a better diver
The CFT Club Diver course is the ideal way to hone your skills to become a safe and competant diver. The CFT Rescue Diver course aims to give you the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively give aid to divers in difficulty. Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.
What you will learn
The course consists of a series of lectures, an amount of pool work, and an amount of open water work. Designed to expose the candidate to different emergency scenarios, all the skills and knowledge gained through the course will be put into practice. The CFT Rescue Diver course is ultimately a challenging yet very rewarding course.
In order for you to enroll in the next CFT Rescue Diver course and begin training you will need to meet to following prerequisites:
- Be a Trainee Diver (CMAS* Diver) with a minimum of 19 logged dives.
- Be a qualified Club Diver (CMAS** Diver) at the time of taking the Rescue Diver Exam.
- Have completed the Diver First Responder course.
- Have current certificate(s) of fitness to dive.
