Have you a qualification from another organisation?? Well if so you are very welcome!. We recognise most international diving grades and offer equivalence to our own grades. What does this mean for you? Well it means that if you have a recognised qualification you will not have to go through all the training again, there will be a few lectures and possibly a little water work to be done but nothing too scary!
We offer set equivalences to the following grades Free of Charge
Supervised Diver: May operate as if certified to Trainee Diver ( CMAS *)
Autonomous Diver: May operate as if certified to Club Diver (CMAS ** )
Dive Leader: May operate as if certified to Leading Diver (CMAS***)
The following are the list of federations that we currently offer equivalence to. If your federation is not listed, please contact us and we will be happy to look into your current qualifications and assess if we can offer equivalence.

FAQ’s
What depths am I covered to dive to?
You are covered to dive to the depths that your CFT grade allows. If you have a qualification from another recognised dive training organisation we will cover you to dive to the depth, (not exceeding 50 meters) allowed by that organisation for this qualification with a suitably qualified Buddy.
Am I covered if I dive Trimix or Rebreathers?
Yes once you are certified by a recognised rebreather training organisation and are registered with CFT you are covered to a maximum depth of 50 meters as set by the medical commission.
Stage Decompression
Stage decompression diving should not be practised unless the diver has completed CFT’s Extended Range Nitrox course or a recognised equivalent.
If stage decompression is planned it must be carried out using recognised decompression computer and / or decompression software.
The diver must have a bail-out plan and carry with him an adequate bail out supply of gas to enable him to cope with any foreseeable emergency situation that may arise.
This type of diving should be carried out in accordance with Extended Range Nitrox guidelines
