The annual Dive Ireland International Expo 2018 takes place in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Limerick on Saturday March 3rd and Sunday March 4th. For any active or aspiring scuba divers, this is an event not to be missed. For two days, all things scuba will converge. So, why be there?
Among other reasons, despite the best will and care in the world, dive gear, ultimately, requires renovation or replacement. And, with so many new products constantly coming to market, ‘Dive Ireland’, bringing together Ireland’s top scuba dealers and specialists under one roof, offers the rare opportunity for Irish divers to get ‘hands on’ with the latest kit. And, as many seasoned ‘Dive Ireland’ attendees know, this is the venue with the potential for finding bargains and striking deals that won’t be had elsewhere.
But, should you come for this only, you’ll likely stay for what else is on offer; for the keen underwater naturalist / photographer, the ‘Underwater Photography Roadshow’, featuring 99 images, captured by divers all around Ireland, will have its first public exhibition, before subsequently touring the country.
And, if photography is your thing, you’ll be spoiled by the wealth of presentations by expert speakers on hand to inform and entertain, these including, ‘FUNdementals of UW photography’ with Paul ‘Duxy’ Duxfield, ‘Working with Natural Light’ with Nick Blake, and ‘Shipwreck Photography’ with Barry McGill.
For those who haven’t yet immersed themselves in scuba diving, or for established divers seeking specific information (or log books, T-shirts, hats, jackets, whatever), the team from Diving Ireland (CFT) Head Office will be available to answer any questions that you may have.
This is but a taste of what will be on offer at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick on Saturday March 3rd and Sunday March 4th. For more information, see www.diveireland.ie.
